Underneath is just a clip to store an extra spring-loaded missile, which can be mounted into the missile launcher on the ends of each wing. While it feels like this space could’ve been used for more storage, most of the space here is unfortunately taken up by the landing mechanism. Todo 360, Cad Bane’s droid, also makes an appearance. He’s a single-mold figure so has no articulation, but does have some nice printed details. The BARC speeder has essentially been recoloured from the 501st squadron set, and as such feels a little uninspired. The nose of the shuttle in the source material consists of a number of converging slopes, with sloped Briggs and hinged creating a variety of shapes on the front of the craft. SNOTwork. (Studs not on top) to the sides she’s the sides slope inwards as well, resulting in a relatively smooth nose. The forward cabin sits two minifigures, one in front of the other. From here, we work on the rear cabin, which attaches to the front via several technic pins.

Considering the set already has a low piece count, I would’ve appreciated some more pieces being used for texturing on the ship. The second minifigure in the set is Hunter, which makes sense as he was the one accompanying Omega when Cad Bane kidnapped her.The jail cell for Omega uses a translucent red wall panel which is pretty accurate, and the Omega minifigure fits comfortably inside. The Havoc Marauder is the official name of the shuttle, but I cannot recall hear it referred to more than once or twice over the multiple episodes that it has appeared in. I initially approached this part of the build with quite a bit of trepidation: I have a few difficulties perceiving firm differences between blues and greys, especially when working without a reference colour. However, the instructions were easy to follow, and clear enough for me to be able to use despite Each member of the Bad Batch possesses unique talents and their specialised armours are designed to accentuate such abilities. Hunter appears the closest to normal Clone Troopers, sporting pearl dark grey commando armour with dark red accents. The colour combination is appealing and metallic silver panels are also included to provide welcome contrast. Spring-loaded shooters are cleverly concealed beneath the fuselage, providing welcome play value without affecting the appearance of the shuttle. They can be accidentally activated quite easily though and the absence of landing gear is frustrating because there is definitely enough space for simple landing struts, even if they were removable instead of folding. There are some exposed colourful Technic elements behind, but I don’t mind too much as covering them up would’ve significantly reduced the already limited space in this section.

Overall

She features a recoloured Harry Potter wig in blonde which I think works excellently, and she has a new double-sided head (smiling and irritated). Her torso has accurate details and she even has arm printing, which is a welcome surprise! Space is available for one minifigure and these handlebars are also adjustable, matching the BARC Speeder. The thrust pods match the original vehicle and the round exhaust looks good too, situated beneath the driver. This model also includes a vacant clip behind the seat, where minifigures can attach their weapons while riding aboard the speeder. It’s worth noting that the ship doesn’t have to be in landing mode to be on display, as it balances on a flat surface in both landing and flight mode.
